In its medium-term management plan (April 1, 2023 – March 31, 2026), Starzen has set the theme of "restructuring revenue streams and sustainable business operations." The company is focused on building new revenue bases domestically and internationally, with particular emphasis on aggressive expansion of overseas operations and strengthened approaches to domestic growth markets.
As a specific growth strategy, Starzen is pursuing new business ventures. Internationally, the company is strengthening its supply capacity for Australian Wagyu, while domestically it is reinforcing the export foundation for Japanese Wagyu beef. These efforts aim to enhance competitiveness in global markets and diversify the revenue base.
In domestic business reform, Starzen is advancing product development aligned with consumer needs and improving logistics efficiency. Through digitalization and business process reform, the company is reorganizing its logistics network and implementing new logistics systems to enhance operational efficiency.
Strengthening sustainability management is also a key part of the strategy. Starzen is advancing initiatives toward achieving greenhouse gas reduction targets and has received SBT certification. This supports the realization of a sustainable society and enhancement of corporate value.
By 2026, the company plans to achieve net sales of 440 billion yen, ordinary income of 10 billion yen, and EBITDA of 12 billion yen. To achieve these targets, Starzen is investing approximately 40 billion yen, focusing on overseas business expansion, domestic business efficiency improvements, and development of high-value-added products.
