Business Overview

OUG Holdings is a corporate group with diverse business segments. Its main operations include seafood receiving, off-market seafood wholesale, aquaculture, food processing, logistics, leasing, seafood intermediary wholesale, and seafood retail.

In the seafood receiving business, subsidiary Uoichi sells seafood under the Wholesale Market Law. In the off-market seafood wholesale business, Shokuryuu imports frozen shrimp and other products from around the world and sells them to domestic markets and mass retailers.

In aquaculture, Hyoshoku raises yellowtail and tuna in waters near Kyushu and Shikoku. In food processing, Daiwa Summit handles cooked rice processing, Tounichi Suisan processes cut vegetables, and Tuna Craft Works processes frozen tuna.

In logistics, Maishima Distribution Center handles sorting and delivery of seafood at the Osaka Port Maishima Food Distribution Center. In leasing, Top operates insurance agency and leasing businesses.

In seafood intermediary wholesale, Daikyo and Taigen sell seafood at central wholesale markets. In seafood retail, Kurogane Sanpei sells seafood at Kurogane Market and department stores. Additionally, affiliated companies support seafood distribution operations.

Management Policy

OUG Holdings has established a medium-term management plan for fiscal years 2024 through 2026 and is advancing its growth strategy. The plan focuses on strengthening the fresh fish business, improving product competitiveness, expanding the Kanto market, growing overseas operations, and promoting sustainable business practices. Through these efforts, the company aims to optimize its value chain and maximize corporate value.

As non-operational strategies, the company is working on reviewing its business portfolio, enhancing human capital, implementing core business systems, strengthening its investor relations framework, advancing quality assurance activities, promoting sustainability, and upgrading shared functions.
