<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>
The Company recognizes returning profits to shareholders as one of its most important management policies. We are committed to maintaining a stable and appropriate dividend level while enhancing our earnings capacity.
The Company's basic policy is to pay dividends from surplus twice per year: an interim dividend and a year-end dividend.
The year-end dividend is decided by the shareholders' meeting, while the interim dividend is decided by the Board of Directors.
Based on this policy, for the current fiscal year, we have decided on an annual dividend of 22.00 yen per share (including an interim dividend of 11.00 yen per share). The interim dividend of 11.00 yen per share includes a special dividend of 1.00 yen per share. The year-end dividend of 11.00 yen per share also includes a special dividend of 1.00 yen per share.
Retained earnings will be allocated to investments in production facilities and IT infrastructure for future business expansion, as well as research and development funds for new product development. We intend to make effective investments to further strengthen our management foundation.
The Company's Articles of Incorporation provide that the Board of Directors may pay an interim dividend with September 30 as the record date each year.
The dividends from surplus for the current fiscal year are as follows:
