Business Overview

Seki operates five major business segments: printing-related business, Western paper and paperboard sales business, publishing and advertising agency business, art museum business, and catalog sales business.

In the printing-related business, Seki plans, manufactures, and sells published prints, commercial prints, and paper products. S.P.C. handles pre-production processes such as design, while Watabe Shikoh undertakes part of the paper product processing. Coop Printing serves as the sales channel to agricultural cooperative clients.

In the Western paper and paperboard sales business, Seki procures Western paper and paperboard for inventory sales. This creates synergies with the printing-related business and enables efficient operations.

In the publishing and advertising agency business, S.P.C. plans and edits books and magazines that Seki manufactures and S.P.C. sells. The company also operates advertising-related services including event hosting and ad placement related to publications.

In the art museum business, Seki establishes and operates art museums to enhance corporate image and revitalize local communities, with Sekikohsan handling operational management. This also serves as part of the company's advertising and promotional activities.

In the catalog sales business, Seki sells office-related product catalogs to business establishments. Additionally, Kozutsumi Club handles catalog production for mail-order sales utilizing Japan Post's Yupack service.

Management Policy

Seki aims for sustainable growth by responding quickly and flexibly to market changes and promoting operational rationalization and efficiency. The company has formulated a medium- to long-term plan called "Next 200," targeting sales of 15 billion yen and operating profit of 750 million yen in fiscal year 2025. By fiscal year 2035, the company is working company-wide to achieve sales of 20 billion yen and operating profit of 1 billion yen.

To ensure stable quality, Seki has obtained certification under the "Japan Color certification system" and pursues highly accurate color reproduction in printing. From an environmental protection perspective, the company continues initiatives based on "ISO 14001" and prioritizes the formation of a sustainable society with environmental consideration. Through these efforts, Seki promotes environmentally conscious management.

Strengthening information security is also a key priority. Seki has established an Information Security Committee and appointed a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Regarding personal information protection, the company has established a management system based on the Privacy Mark and ensures thorough appropriate protection and management.
