Muro Corporation operates through three business segments: metal-related components, resin-related components, and other businesses. These operations are conducted by the company and its 12 subsidiaries.
The metal-related components segment manufactures and sells automotive electrification parts, powertrain components, steering and control parts, vehicle body and air conditioning parts, and components for motorcycles, agricultural machinery, industrial machinery, and precision equipment. These products are handled by overseas subsidiaries including Murotech Ohio Corporation and Murotech Vietnam Corporation.
The resin-related components segment produces and sells resin-molded parts for automobiles and cameras, molded parts for medical devices, gear components for office equipment, and vinyl products. These products are manufactured and sold by domestic subsidiary Igari Sangyo Co., Ltd. and overseas subsidiary Muro Asia Pacific.
The other businesses segment includes the manufacture and sale of continuous screw fastening machines and screw assemblies, handled by Muro North America Inc. Muro Corporation also manufactures and sells citrus peeling machines.
