Business Overview

SHINKO operates three main business segments: maintenance services, solutions, and staffing services. With over 60 locations nationwide, engineers provide equipment maintenance, implementation design, and installation services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

In the maintenance services business, SHINKO provides system support, equipment maintenance, call center services, and help desk support. The company specializes in maintaining medical equipment, including electronic medical record systems manufactured by Wemex and electronic pharmacy record systems made by PHC. SHINKO has secured approximately 36,000 maintenance contracts, ensuring stable revenue.

In the solutions business, SHINKO provides ICT services to medical institutions and general enterprises. Through partnerships with NEC and KDDI, the company offers network equipment configuration services and automated warehouse system deployment. Its technical center manages equipment configuration through delivery in a unified process to standardize quality.

In the staffing services business, SHINKO dispatches engineers who perform IT equipment maintenance and system design. Major clients include NEC Fielding and KDDI Group, whose engineers are highly valued for their technical expertise. This recurring revenue model based on staffing contracts ensures stable earnings.

SHINKO leverages expertise across its business segments to propose solutions addressing client challenges, creating new business opportunities. The company has a competitive advantage in acquiring new projects by utilizing synergies between its business divisions.

Management Policy

SHINKO announced a new medium-term management plan in July 2024, aiming for growth through digital transformation (DX) initiatives. As a comprehensive IT solutions company, SHINKO leverages its IT network technology and nationwide network infrastructure to provide full-scale DX support to healthcare institutions and enterprises.

In the first year of the new medium-term plan, SHINKO promoted the adoption of online eligibility verification equipment for visiting nursing stations as part of healthcare DX efforts, achieving increased revenue and profitability. With "growth and improved profitability" as its top priority, SHINKO is expanding its business foundation by capitalizing on synergies across business divisions.

In its maintenance services business, SHINKO utilizes its nationwide network to deliver consistent service quality. Amid growing labor shortages, SHINKO is strengthening operational efficiency and cost competitiveness to drive growth in maintenance services. Notably, SHINKO's maintenance track record in the healthcare sector has earned recognition, resulting in increased inquiries from medical device manufacturers.

In its solutions business, SHINKO leverages the technical expertise of over 700 engineers to expand partnerships with major corporations and government agencies. Through enhanced sales capabilities and strengthened relationships with partner companies, SHINKO is pursuing business growth. The expansion of the solutions business also contributes to growth in the maintenance services business.

In its staffing services business, SHINKO promotes skill development for engineers and enhances their evaluation at client sites. Through university partnerships, SHINKO strengthens new graduate recruitment and provides IT engineer development programs, ensuring a stable supply of talent. Through these initiatives, SHINKO is pursuing sustainable growth.
