<h3 class="smt_head2">3 [Dividend Policy]</h3>

The Company recognizes that returning profits to shareholders is one of its most important corporate responsibilities. We will pursue improved profitability by conducting business with awareness of capital costs, while preparing for business risks and strengthening shareholder returns through aggressive investment in new business areas. Through these efforts, we aim to achieve sustainable growth and enhance corporate value.

The Company's basic policy is to pay dividends from retained earnings twice per year: an interim dividend and a year-end dividend. Dividend decisions are made by the Board of Directors in accordance with the Articles of Incorporation.

For the current fiscal year's year-end dividend, we have set the regular dividend at 29.00 yen per share. As a result, the total annual dividend for the current fiscal year, combined with the interim dividend of 40.00 yen, amounts to 69.00 yen per share.

Regarding the interim dividend for the current fiscal year, in addition to the regular dividend of 20 yen per share, we have implemented a special dividend of 20 yen per share. This special dividend was made possible by extraordinary gains recorded from the sale of land and buildings of the former headquarters and annex building in connection with the relocation of our head office in May of the current fiscal year.

Our basic policy is to pay dividends twice a year—an interim dividend and a year-end dividend—both decided by the Board of Directors.
