While we intend to consider distributing retained earnings in the future based on business performance and financial condition, our current policy is to prioritize securing funds for the continuous and planned implementation of research and development activities that require substantial upfront investment. Accordingly, we do not currently pay dividends.</p><p class="smt_text2" style="orphans:0;widows:0;text-align:justify;padding-left:9pt;padding-right:0pt;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;text-indent:9pt;font-family:'ＭＳ 明朝';letter-spacing:0pt;line-height:15pt;font-size:9pt;"><span style="font-family:'ＭＳ 明朝';font-size:9pt;">When the Company distributes retained earnings, its basic policy is to conduct year-end dividends once per fiscal year. Additionally,</span> the Company's Articles of Incorporation provide that retained earnings may be distributed by resolution of the Board of Directors in accordance with Article 459 of the Companies Act. Furthermore, to enable flexible dividend responses, the Company's Articles of Incorporation provide that interim dividends may be paid by Board of Directors resolution pursuant to Article 454, Paragraph 5 of the Companies Act.</p><p class="smt_text2" style="orphans:0;widows:0;text-align:justify;padding-left:9pt;padding-right:0pt;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;text-indent:9pt;font-family:'ＭＳ 明朝';letter-spacing:0pt;line-height:15pt;font-size:15pt;"> </p>

<p>For the time being, we prioritize securing funds to support ongoing research and development activities and do not plan to pay dividends. In the future, we will consider distributing surplus earnings while taking into account our operating results and financial condition. When we do pay dividends, our basic policy is to distribute them once per fiscal year as a year-end dividend.</p>
