<h3 class="smt_head2">3 [Dividend Policy]</h3><p class="smt_text3" style="orphans:0;widows:0;">The Company recognizes the return of profits to shareholders as an important management priority. While we intend to consider surplus distributions in the future taking into account our business performance and financial condition, our current policy is to prioritize securing funds to support the continuous and planned implementation of research and development activities that require substantial upfront investment. Accordingly, we do not plan to pay dividends at this time.</p><p class="smt_text3" style="orphans:0;widows:0;">Our basic policy is to distribute surpluses as year-end dividends with a record date of June 30. However, our Articles of Incorporation provide that interim dividends with a record date of December 31 may be paid annually, and that surplus distributions may be made by Board of Directors resolution in accordance with Article 459, Paragraph 1 of the Companies Act.</p><p class="smt_text2" style="orphans:0;widows:0;"> </p>

<p>While the company will consider distributing surplus funds in the future based on management performance and financial condition, its current policy is to prioritize securing funds for the continuous and planned implementation of research and development activities, and therefore will not pay dividends at this time.
