Management Policy
Tosoh is committed to contributing to society through chemical innovation and aims to realize a sustainable society. Based on the "Tosoh Group Sustainability Fundamental Policy" established in May 2025, the company is advancing sustainability-focused management. Under this policy, Tosoh is working to preserve the global environment and address social challenges while pursuing sustainable growth.
In its medium-term management plan (fiscal years 2025–2027), the company has redefined its business portfolio into two categories: "Chain Business" and "Advanced Business." The Chain Business consists of product chains based on salt electrolysis and naphtha thermal cracking, with highly integrated and efficient operations as its core strength. The Advanced Business maintains a strong position in the pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries, focusing on improving profitability in growing markets.
As a medium- to long-term management priority toward fiscal year 2030, Tosoh is pursuing simultaneous achievement of growth and decarbonization. Specifically, the company is transforming its business structure to expand revenues while reducing CO2 emissions. In the Chain Business, it aims to increase the value-added applications of chlorine, while in the Advanced Business, it seeks to expand its revenue base through new business creation.
In its medium-term management plan for fiscal years 2025–2027, Tosoh has allocated 220 to 250 billion yen for capital expenditures, with particular emphasis on strengthening the Chain Business. The company is also enhancing shareholder returns and improving capital efficiency. Through these initiatives, Tosoh aims to achieve sustainable growth and contribute to society.
