<h3 class="smt_head2">3 [Dividend Policy]</h3><p class="smt_text2" style="orphans:0;widows:0;padding-left:13.5pt;">We recognize that enhancing corporate value (shareholder value) and maximizing profit returns to our shareholders are important management priorities. Our basic policy is to determine dividends by considering business performance trends, financial condition, and new business plans, while also taking into account the necessity of retained earnings to strengthen our financial position and prepare for future business development.<br/>　We implement dividend distributions twice annually: an interim dividend and a year-end dividend. The interim dividend is decided by the Board of Directors, while the year-end dividend is decided by the General Shareholders' Meeting. Although our Articles of Incorporation permit interim dividends, we have not implemented them to date.<br/>　Regarding the dividend distribution for the current period, while we have made every effort to improve performance, in light of the business environment surrounding our company and current period results as described in "Section 2 [Business Overview] 4 [Analysis of Financial Position, Operating Results, and Cash Flow by Management] (Overview of Results) (1) Results," we would like to implement a no-dividend policy.<br/>　We sincerely apologize to our shareholders and appreciate your understanding.
